Aside from posting the things given from the planners, they will also be deciding the time in which they will post. The time they will post will depend usually on the target market. They have to post the given posts when they know that their target market is online. Before even posting, they must get a report from the marketing team on the demographics and psychographics of the target market so that they know how they are to maneuver with regard to the target audience.

Lastly, a big chunk of work of a community manager would be to make sure that all the comments and messages would have a reply. It is a number one rule in community management that all the comments and messages are left with an answer. Of course, each type of social media page would have their own rules but as a standard for Facebook and Twitter, this basic rule stays. Also, one has to make sure that the comments and messages are answered within the day in order to keep the engagement rate of the page up.

Basically, these are a few things that one should know about social media marketing. Although this profession is relatively new, there have been a lot of experts who have been dedicated to analyzing and studying how the algorithm of these kinds of accounts work. Through this, they have made techniques to fully optimize them and also created a new career path from it.
