Before homeowners put their property on the market, they have to decide whether they will try to sell it themselves or engage the services of a real estate agent. Many people object to paying a percentage of the purchase price to an agent, but are concerned about the amount of time it takes to do the work themselves. You may have concerns that you won't get the same service with one of these agents that you would with a commission based real estate company. The closing will probably be conducted in an attorney's office. Prior to the actual day and time of the transaction, you agent should offer to go over the closing documents with you to make you sure you don't have any questions or concerns. The agent will attend the closing with you.
