Gun ownership in the United States is filled with controversy and heated debates. There is a lot of concern about the nature of our gun culture and just what it is doing to contribute to the violence we are experiencing in our country. There are so many violent crimes being committed with guns that people are looking for answers and solutions to end this deadly trend. There is finally a website that talks about these issues without taking sides about gun violence and citizens rights to own guns.

Not affiliated with a particular organization, the site respectfully examines First and Second Amendment rights as they're written in the Constitution. Some people unwaveringly defend these rights, while others believe that the Bill of Rights was written so long ago that the right to bear arms needs to be rewritten to reflect current values.

The basis of the website is to educate people by allowing them to understand the debate from both sides of the fence, those opposed to the issue and those for the issue of gun rights. It also helps citizens understand the media's role in helping to form our opinions about guns and also to shed more light on the wording of the gun laws so that they can better be understood by laymen and people who are interested in knowing the legal aspects of gun ownership. A site visitor can read about many things such as the benefits of owning guns, the American history of guns and also on gun control laws and if we really need to own guns as American citizens.

Viewers can also follow the site on social media. They can submit a blog post or comment on what's already been written. In keeping with First Amendment rights, the site operates on the premise that people should be free to express their views, provided it is done politely. While political correctness is not required, basic courtesy is.

Any derogatory or demeaning language based on religion, gender, race or other opinions will not be tolerated on this website.

This website is more than a political forum on gun rights, it allows people to talk about having checks and balances in place that can be applied to current gun laws and to talk about any revisions or provisions that should be made to modify existing laws that can strike a balance for all concerned and promote safety and also protect freedoms at the same time. Viewers of the website are encouraged to make their contributions regarding our gun laws and gun violence and also discuss the laws regarding to have and own guns.
