Maintain absolute silence between practice or performance sessions ensuring that you only talk when it is necessary. A healthy diet ensures that your blood sugar is normal and constant with regular meals reducing the possibility of acid influx. Take your meals early depending on your sleeping schedule.

It produces vapor that has both healing and relieving powers. The vapor works on the upper respiratory track by dislodging the impurities that may be found there including mucus. This has a significant effect on voice quality.

The place of sleep in enhancing voice quality cannot be taken by anything else. The recommended sleeping hours for an intensive voice user is eight hours. This helps in the recovery process which is necessary to prolong voice use. In case you suffer from acid reflux, use a pillow or two to tilt your body upwards.

Stress will definitely affect the quality of your voice, and unfortunately has an instantaneous results. Some of the stress situations to avoid include arguments, noisy places or inconveniences. Stress causes the throat to automatically tense which will affect the quality of sound produced. It makes the muscles around your throat susceptible to cracking and fatigue. Your voice will also be affected by tired ears. This calls for avoidance of high decibel noises.

A good voice will depend on the level of humidity in the area you are working. To keep the throat sufficiently humidified, take enough water and avoid areas that are too dry or too wet. The use of a humidifier will help you maintain the recommended levels. Each person has a unique comfort level. Air pollution will also affect the quality of your voice. A throat massage will induce relaxation and thus enhance your voice quality.
