Diversity is something that is still very hard to achieve these days. Racial discrimination is still rampant these days. Oppression is still in the atmosphere in most nations and considerably, around the world. It cannot be denied that people are still classified according to their respective colors.

Dominance is one thing that divides people from nation to nation. It is never fair and it is never just. There are many privileges that all men regardless of differences must enjoy, but those who are less fortunate are deprived of such privileges. White privilege sports, education, politics, and business are the most unfair concepts.

This term is considered by activists as a stereotypical concept of self greatness. It is sad that the rest of the society will have to make a lot of compromises to be able to fit in but if one is white, there is not much struggle. This is a clear unfairness and utterly irrelevant. Some activists insist that there must be no such thing as racial division because everyone must be treated equal.

Some stereotypes just cannot accept differences. They are the ones who think that they are greater than another race because they look better or speak a better sounding language. They tend to think that culture, tradition, and color are the basis for social ranking. There is so much indifference towards people who are regarded as underdogs.

Some areas in the society involves other races who have excelled and became famous. Take for example in sports. There are so many Asians and Black Americans or even cultural minorities who have become champions. They built their own names without relying on the so called race privileges. They struggled hard just to fit in and yet they still made it.

The term is just something that the whites use to emphasize their dominance. It is like they are painting privilege, honor, and social ranking or position, which is entirely wrong and unacceptable. No matter how educated, professional, or affluent a person is, he or she must never classify people for their color and race.

In addition, the term is like a wall built between one race and a lot of other races. It is difficult to cross the line. In a work environment, for example, the wall makes it difficult for the business to advance. If workers have too much indifference, they will not be able to break this wall. And if they cannot break the wall, they will not be able to work together properly to achieve a single goal. They will be clouded with their own principles.

In schools, on the other hand, bullying persists. There had been a lot of bullying cases that are way overboard. Worst case scenarios can lead to brutal verbal abuse, physical abuse that cause minor to major injuries, and even death. This happens to many Black Americans and it affects their social interactions so much which affects their growth and psychological well being especially for children.

It is good to know that many organizations are raising awareness campaigns in anti discrimination. But this is not enough to solve the problem. There is a dire need for a collective effort to make people accept differences. The government plays a big part in attaining this.
