Nowadays, many stores are becoming more and more environmental friendly by not using plastic bags anymore. Now in order to do their part in saving the earth, they would use paper bags instead. Now the only issue with using these types of bags is that they are hard to carry simply because they do not have any handles. It is for this reason that a lot of stores would actually make paper bags with handles.
Now the very first thing that one should do would be to put one bag inside the first one because paper bags are in general quite flimsy. Basically, one will just be putting one inside the other and staple them together. By doing this, one will be able to make his bag stronger.
Now after that is already done, then the next thing that one would now have to think of would be making the handles. Now one can use a lot of things in order to make each handle depending on how he would want them to look like. He may use ribbon, yarn, twine, or other type of sturdy material that he could think of that looks nice.
Now the first thing that would usually come to mind when it comes to paper bag handles would of course be the string or the piece of yarn. Now in order to use strings, one will first have to buy small buttons in craft stores and punch them into the paper bag. From there, he would then have to twist a few strings together in order to make a bigger handle.
The next thing to do would be to use the string to tie a knot through the hole. Another thing that he can do would be to tie a big knot on both ends of the string. This will result in the string having two big knot balls on both ends of this string. From there, he can be able to put it in the holes.
Now for an easier time, he may want to use a ribbon instead of a string. Ribbons are actually more practical to use because one will have an easier time putting the ribbon on the bag as compared to the string. Also, using ribbons may actually be sturdier.
Of course in order to do this, one just simply has to place the ribbon on the inside part of the bag and just staple it there. Now although this is already rather sturdy, one may add some scotch tape if he would just want to play it safe. After he does that, then he just has to do that to the other side of the bag too.
So as one can see, it is actually easy to make something like this. All one would need would be a little bit of resourcefulness and of course some skills when it comes to crafts. Doing this will definitely please the customers and make their shopping experience more convenient.
