Without laws, every country in the world would not function properly since everyone will be using his or her own rules. This is why laws are put in place in order for everything to function as need comes up. The same way, companies have put in place a human resource department to come up with rules for the organization. There also is labor compliance management to balance the employer-employee relationship.

They provide safety and risk management. The worker is supposed to be provided with a safe working environment. It is up to the human resources to ensure that the employee does actually work under fit conditions. It is also their role to teach the employees on how to react to hazardous situations and avoid any form of harm they may be exposed to.

Through the human resource department, the labor laws look to make the worker as comfortable as possible to work in the organization. First of all, they conduct the orientation to ensure the employee knows their way around the company. They then proceed to train and development of the employees skills for maximum efficiency.

Most companies tend to take advantage of their employees. They push them into working so hard so as to earn a lot of profit but at the same time pay them a very minimum amount. The labor laws are there to ensure that the rights of the employees are respected. If unsupervised, some employers can really abuse the efforts of their employees.

A lot of people may think that only the employer can be unfair. This is however not the case. The employees too can be unfair to their employer. This is why there are also laws in place protecting the rights of the employer. Without these laws, the employee would work at their own time and if the worker would set a time limit they would see it as abuse.

There is the aspect of dual protection. This is whereby there are laws that dictate how employees should interact among themselves and how they should interact with their employers. Such laws assist in avoiding problems that no one would want to deal. They also ensure employees get the much-deserved benefits such as reduced medical care.

Every company provides a certain set of values before awarding jobs to people. They have to make sure that they are fair to the worker. For example, an worker is to be given off days for example on the weekends. Making them work every day of the week will be I violation of their rights and the values that are to be followed.

These labor laws are a way of ensuring economic stability. These are because they ensure the employer makes the profit while the worker is being well compensated. This compensation makes the employees potential consumers and the employers too. This way, everyone earns as expected and therefore no side experiences any form of unfair treatment. The clients who are not within the company also play a big role in making sure the economy is balanced and there is enough salary for the employees and profits for the company.
