Nuclear power plant is an example of a clean energy source. It is important to focus on nuclear energy so as to avert climate change. About 50% of electricity needs in Ontario are met by nuclear power. This source of electricity has been preferred owing to many advantages realized. The power is usually produced at a low cost compared to other many sources of energy. In addition to that, the emissions of this kind of energy do neither cause global warming nor do they cause acid rain.

Canada has really invested in this form of energy. About 15% of the energy consumed in the country comes from nuclear power plants. Canada has about 19 reactors whereby, most of them are found in the city. To increase in energy production, there are plans to put up two more reactors in country. This is intended to improve and encourage people to use clean energy sources, which are environment friendly.

Chalk River laboratories have experts who conduct research in this field. CRL have professionals in chemistry, engineering, biology, physics and metallurgy. In addition to that, research is conducted in state-of-art facilities with the guidance of program analyst . The findings have played a great role in boosting nuclear technology in country. Most of nuclear jobs advertised in these labs, require people who are experienced with VMware.

Technicians, administrative staff, human resources, communications, engineers, education and training and also trade workers are careers that are highly demanded in the nuclear industry. Hiring of these professionals is usually done frequently within the industry. There are a good number of people working in such kinds of high paying jobs who live in Ottawa. For the purposes of recruitment nuclear personnel, advertisement of 3-6 month contract position is done.

Canadian Energy Research Institute conducted a research that divulged that nuclear reactors present produce a huge share to the GDP of the country in every year. This means that production of nuclear energy in the country has a positive impact to the economy. Most importantly a huge population has been employed to work in these kinds of industries. Around 21000 individuals have attained direct employment and 10,000 have benefited from indirect employments.

Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) is responsible of regulating the entire stages during progression of every Canadian nuclear power plant. It conducts the assessment of environment before one is constructed. It also decommissions the facility on completion of operations.

Commercial production of Nuclear energy has been going on in Canada since 1960s. During licensing of plants, different areas are covered to enhance safety of workers and also the general public. The areas well taken care of include; radiation protection, environmental protection, emergency preparedness and also fitness of equipment used to perform the service.
